Nach einer wunderbaren Premiere im Dezember lädt das in Heidelberg gegründete Label Random Mind State dieses Mal Amy Dabbs aus Berlin ein.

Amy Dabbs ist bekannt für ihre energiegeladenen Sets, die sich irgendwo zwischen House, Breakbeats, Soulsamples und Jungle bewegen. Sie war auf Cinthies legendären DJ Kicks vertreten, und wurde von Radio 1 zum “Future Star” ernannt. Ein Muss für alle Fans von broken beats!

London born, now Berlin based, Amy Dabbs is the daughter of an original Northern Soul DJ. Trusting in the mantra of doing what you love, Amy makes and plays music she believes in, music that makes you dance and elicit an emotional response.

In what’s set to be a stand-out year for Amy Dabbs, she has some huge releases in store for 2023, including EPs on Shall Not Fade, Aus and her own imprint Dabbs Traxx to name a few, ranging from her modern take on classic house to jungle and drum and bass. As a multi-genre artist, Amy Dabbs has become renowned for her distinguished, diverse sound, and undeniable flair both behind the booth and in the studio, most recently delivering a standout solo EP on Low Battery, which received a prestigious Resident Advisor review and extensive coverage on BBC Radio, as well as featuring in her Origins mix which was just listed in Mixmag’s Best of 2022 mixes. To kick this year off, Amy has just dropped a brand new remix on Time Is Now, and with so much already in the pipeline, it’s certain Amy Dabbs is a name we’re set to be hearing a lot more of.
